Why have we decided to team up?

The new Parliament and Commission face many challenges in energy policy and climate change abatement and our two associations will seize the opportunity in 2010 to emphasize the proven capability and still untapped potential for cogeneration and district heating in the more efficient use of energy in Europe. 2010 will be the first time that the sectors representing cogeneration and district heating will have used their most visible annual events to send a united message to the Commission and Parliament.

We shall bring the strongest advocates and the most influential thinkers to Brussels to highlight the significant role which energy efficiency and cogeneration must play in resolving the climate and energy challenges which we
face today.
